  • Has Anyone Made Maps With Doom64 Stuff?

Just a quick question. I've had a look around but haven't come across anything. It surprised me actually because in my head Doom64 is like the bastard child of Doom and Quake...

Maybe that could be the next jam over at Func!?

I think I started doing something a while back with somebody on here but I don't remember what happened with it

edit : I wouldn't mind doing some chunking and fleshing out to have the maps ready for somebody to fill with textures/entities if somebody wanted me to do that

Powerslave/Exhumed & Turok are also in the works.

Goldeneye, Doom64 & Turok came out in the nineties when I worked at Gamestation.

Yeah, Doom64 EX is fantastic. Sadly, it hasn't garnered the interest of many mappers.

When I got Doom64 for the console I had no idea it was a different game. It blew me away! Love everything about it - even the fact that the graphics still contain sprites. Like I mentioned above, to me, it's a great crossover between Doom and Quake and helps pull the 'Id' universe together... even though Id had nothing to do with the game!

Next jam at Func? It sounds like a great idea, and a whole new level theme never done
