  • Question About Sound

So I'm try to make a sound pack for Quake. I took one of the sounds I wanted to use as a test, and converted it to mono. I the replaced the original in the PAK0 file, making sure to make the name the same. (It was the grenade bounce noise). However, every time that noise was supposed to play, I would get an error says 'grenade.wav is a stereo sample".

I converted it from stereo with audacity if that makes a difference.

Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

    Thanks

I used 11Khz, but I found a solution to my problem. I needed to make it 16 bit WAV and not 32 BIT. Not sure why.

Pieface, use Audacity. If you can't figure it out, let me know.
