  • Lit files in proquake?

I have been messing around with lit files recently, and noticed that they don't see, to work or do anything in proquake.

Is there a setting or console command for it, or could that feature be added?

I don't think it's possible to use lit files in proquake. My understanding is that proquake is supposed to be a fairly bare bones engine port focused primarily on multiplayer accessibility and playability. To me, lit files are more geared towards single player gameplay to add to the atmosphere.

I don't believe it does though that doesn't mean it couldn't be added

Kurok 0.4 and the fork ProQuake 4.71 for PSP had .lit support written in, though I never tested the functionality personally.

I can look into implementing it for PC! No promises ;-)

[EDIT: If Baker is reading, I'm going to butcher ProQuake with lightmap support >:-) now to go download the source and use an IDE because I'm an evolved caveman and have been introduced to FIRE]
