I had long been using 120 frames per second and it seemed like a number that work ideally.
Mindzfield made some sort of comment on Rage about how he uses 300, and that prompted me to try 250 (I didn't consistently get 300 FPS).
I haven't used 250 long, but immediately I felt more freedom of movement and it seemed easier to keep the LG locked on someone even when they do crazy things in the air.
So what number are you using? (pq_maxfps xxx sets it in ProQuake, pq_drawfps 1 shows what you are getting, in Qrack/JoeQuake 0.15 you do cl_maxfps xxx and show_fps 1 to show it and need to set vid_vsync 0; I don't know the cvar for DarkPlaces or if it even needs such a command).
