I only see 16 pages. And when I made this thread it was for fun, it's still for fun, if you wanna start a new Top CA'ers thread go ahead, but nobody's locking my thread because there's "a lot to read", or because "some aren't active anymore". Took quite awhile to sort through those votes too haha.

Alot of voters don't frequent the forums anymore, either. OR quake for the matter.

32 pages of obsolete discussion should definately be locked, for the purpose of preserving the older opinions, and make way for the current community to have an opinion in a new post !!

i think that any hpb that can do all the lpb jumps and tricks with above average aim and smooth navigation are the best. If i hpb somewhere i always run into walls; and nobody say i do it when i ping 20... i do but dont say it.

Anyway.. I completely agree with Tal. Cata is a freaking monster. First time I ever played him on Endif in airshot mode... it was pretty humbling. Playing against that dude probably helped my aim more than against anyone else except perhaps ramp or yorb.

And you're right, it's not up to date with current players.

I found the resurrection a decent subject.

Gamestatus is nice to keep track of stats. I also Occasionally watch the Live Server browser, it has some stats too. Quake always has been about competition for the most part, and remains the same way. I surely wouldn't be here if I sucked at quake,neither would most others Anyone who says they suck at quake now days is a liar too, haha
