Quake 1 Android APP Server Notify

Greetings from Brazil, Quakers!


If your SMARTPHONE uses ANDROID, download the Quake Notify APP. It allows the registration of QUAKE 1 and QUAKE WORLD servers and gives an alert when there are players on the servers.


1. Using your ANDROID phone, download and install the application:

http://netquake.ddns.net:81/downloads/QuakeNotify-debug.apk


2. After installing, open the app and register the Quake 1 and Quake World servers. Go to SETTINGS.

2.1. Set the notification interval (in minutes). For example: 5.

2.2. Enter one server per line, in the format ADDRESS: PORT, for example netquake.ddns.net:26000 and netquake.ddns.net:27500. Do this for as many servers as you want.


Save and you're done! When players will be playing on the registered servers, you will receive a warning.

Please, install and share the app... it's very usefull...

One question. Why are you releasing the debug build? Debug builds are generally less performant and bloated.

You used HaXe? That looks like a HaXe build name.

I did not the app. It was made by another player, from São Paulo in Brazil.
I know a player called AK.DOIDO.DC. He tested the app.
I am just helping them to share it for the Quake 1 community.
I believe this app could bring back the attention to Quake 1.
