Yeah I did fastforward through the quite shitty music in the beggining, and the end. Music is all opinion anyway, so theres no real need to decide on what type of music to put in. I myself like HEAVY METAL of any kind. Except Nu-metal, of course.

Hehe, that's really cool Bank. I was kind of tired and only scanned the Quakeone.com news. I didn't even realise you made it until I had listened to about half. "That's Right!"

            Nice work.

              Bank,
              Very nice style!

              My only concern:
You should take care to avoid popping sounds when recording.
Move the mike a bit sideways or more distant from your mouth and set input volume higher if needed.
Changing for a better mike or using a pop shield is the best way.

I don't hear much popping sounds at all. Sounds great to me...

                  Ok Monster,

                  I was talking about qradio1
I just downloaded qradio2. It's much better on that matter.
                  No more popping! :d

Maybe this time the voice/music volume is somewhat unbalanced...

Btw, on Mac OS X, get VLC to play these .oggs! Available for many other OS...

If I could afford 42 euros for a Quake Radio show, I would, but I could only afford the 30 dollars I spent on the bloody mic : D

Send me donations, and maybe I'll be able to improve the quality!

                      Bank,

The voice take of qradio2 sounds OK, even though you could add some input gain when recording.
Adding it later will result in more bkgnd noise!
Then, when mixing, you should adjust the volume level balance between voice and music, to avoid big volume jumps.

But overall, I think your mike is OK for the job.
                      Music sounds OK too.

Just talking tech and trying to help here...

I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, I really appreciate your advice, but the point is, some things cant be helped, my radio show quality will only be OK until I'm able to get better equipment, which will be never, as I'm incredibly poor, or lazy, whatever comes first.

                          Bank,

You can really do a lot of things with very low cost equipment.
I just don't want to crowd the forum with this.
If you want and have time for it, we could have some ICQ chat about it.
I leave it up to you. Just PM me...

The song fails only because I have no indication that Im going to be listening to a show as opposed to just hearing a song. All you need is a soundbit honestly, and I think it should be clearly Quake related, perhaps using the opening bit of track2 from the soundtrack which rapidly fades out right into your talking.

Hrmm, now I have diabolical plans for the future involving Bank.
