If only Diazoild could see this. Too bad he hates me now for whatever reason. It totally blows me away to see this on Youtube. I'm =RQ=-1, and Diazoild is, well, Diazoild.

Now I want to play Slide. I can't find the mod anywhere, the only thing I can find is some website with some bs links that claim to be slide downloads but it's really just screenshots. Where can I find slide at?

Normally I would follow the tried and tested method of putting

-game [slidedirectory]

in the comand line but I seem to recall that gave me some issues. That could of course just be related to my setup.

Hi Foq,

What worked for me was to write a little batch file to copy across those files into the id1 directory > fire up quake > Play slide and lose to Peg > delete the 2 pak files on exit.

I'm sure Baker and the quake guru's here can come up with a better way of doing it but it worked a treat for me.

hm... you have pak2.pak and pak3.pak but where's pak0.pak and pak1.pak? Do you just drop the .pak files into your ID1 folder?

im no expert, but im guessing so since the pak 0 and 1 are kinda irreplaceable, the mod is just an addition to those required files. ( i think )

I remember playing slide on that map. No matter how much I practiced, peg and polarite owned me at time records. Home base advantage!!!

The slide maps/mod are/is on Quake 1 Maps , which Solecord would be fixed very soon.
