You know, I am a person who can laugh about himself.
(not many people can do this)

My real life is just too hard and sad to continue beeing too serious here in this pseudo internet world.
My posts often contain jokes, which many people misinterpret.
If people know me longer, they will see that I am a very humorous person.

As far as I can tell, I am male.
I am married with a female and have kids, so that seems to be correct

My nickname was based on that actress Seven of Nine.
I did not think too much if she is female or male.
The name itself is neutral and sounds perfect for me.
After years it simply become "Seven".
It is shorter and I love the sound of it.

    That is the whole story.

I think a forum like this should be entertaining and fun.
Seriousness or trouble is enough in our real lifes.
We all come here to relax and read about things we like.

That is why my posts are sometimes not really serious but funny.
And you also know now why I use that avatar after reading this post...

    Have fun,
    Seven

My first nickname, as far as I rember, was Little.
That was the nickname, that my first girlfriend, that I had sex with, gave me.
There is much confusion in your post, but the last part is just hilarious. I don't know a guy on this earth that would tell the "world" he has small junk. Much less go out of his way with "commas" to do so.

    Now about the confusion:

I have read where you have said that people here thought you were a girl. I also thought this. However you are a guy. Yet, Seven of Nine is a girl and the "inspiration" for your name. Do you see how this is all very strange?

I'm not Scooby Doo, but something tells me there is a mystery here. Actually, based on the whole, I believe I have figured it all out, but if I am wrong it would be very insulting so, I will just leave it a mystery.

The name I used originally was BioVirus... that was back in 98ish? I switched up names quite a bit... Godsmack, steve, recoil, and some others I can't think of right now. Then I came up with Solecord. I was playing America's Army and someone was using that name and I thought it was cool so I "stole" it for use in Quake

I held season tickets to NASCAR races at Bristol Motor Speedway for years. I was on a waiting list for 6 years to get my tickets... but that's another story from back in the day... anyways... We were there for the night race in '86 or '87 I can't recall exactly... and a friend of a friend had a brother who had a souvenir trailer that he followed the race circuit with... There was this black t-shirt with a skull and crossbones on the front pocket and a larger version on the back... with DILLIFAF where the name goes... you know across the top back... Me, in my drunken state of mind asked, what the word stood for, my friend responded but I didn't hear him... I asked again what It said/meant... He said "Does It Look I Give A [email protected]*$"... And I said... I know you don't give a F*$&" but what does that stand for? He said it again... a little louder and a little S L O W E R and I finally got it! And my Quake name was born.

I used the GL as my weapon of choice,so all my kills printed out ....was blunted by tagnbagm....so everyone called me Bluntz. There is another player that I ran into around 98 using it on the west coast and since I was an east coast DM player and he was west coast CA it never was a big deal with over 5000 servers I did not give a shit.I think there were some others as well but they were all nooobs, Patbot is the other white meat and a better player than me even if I am older.

Sure there is a good way. It is more of a nickname than trying to be insulting. No worries as I was raised with a pet name from my grandparents and had one for both of them as well. It was all good!

Nah, my grandson just calls me old man
There's a good way to be called "old man"? If I called my Grandfather "old man" I would have got my ass whooped by 2 people - my Father and Grandfather, with the potential of my Mother hanging around waiting for a piece.

I guess it's a cultural thing. My family was a bunch of Nazi's about everything. Which as an aside I would like to say that all that does is breed children that go above and beyond for breaking every damn rule.

@ Gdiddy - I like your story. Your name goes beyond the screen. It's cool that your son would give you an original nickname for achieving Grand Fatherhood. Did your grandchild pick it up and continue the moniker?

    - "You play video games Gdiddy!?"
~ "That's right. I was playing video games before your Dad was born."
    - "They had video games in the olden days!?"
~{laughs} "That's right, I was playing pacman with cavemen when it first came out."
    - "What is pacman?"
    {Gdiddy googles up a pacman clone and spends the next 45 minutes trying to beat his grandson at it. Out of sheer frustration that he can't beat a 4 year old at pacman he convinces the child that he has an even better game named Quake.}
    - "There are an awful lot of buttons in this one Gdiddy."
~"Yeah, well, your old Grandpa is relying on the fact that your little hands aren't developed enough to play."
