While watching a fullscreen video on youtube of "Castle of Koohoo", Baker recommended, you go to automatically hit the tilde(~) key to type "quit" and press enter: NOTHING!!! Doh

What are some of you're "You know you've been playing to much Quake when... " moments!!!

tI always during chats outside of Quake, push the bloody t button as if it magically enabled me to be able to type (when in reality, left clicking the fn type box is what actually gets you somewhere, in which still I end up hitting the t button to get things going)

When I type to people on facebook I often write 2-3 word sentences instead of whole paragraphs. Years and years of Quaking have destroyed my ability to chat regularly with friends without typing 2-3-4 word sentences.

I also used to hit T before chatting outside of Quake 1 like Mindz lol

Ah, that preliminary t. Always happened after I stopped playing... worse for me if another game used enter or TAB to chat, instead.

There is no such thing as "too much Quake"... Some people cannot get enough Quake... Quake is kinda like a drug (but it's a good drug.) [No disrespect... I'm just saying.]
