    Hey guys...

    much people in this forum said that DP is difficult and not user-friendly to mod....
    starting from today, you need only to download this pk3 files in your QUAKE/ID1/ subfolder.
    Thanks to Seven for hosting and...

    this is "my Quake"... my mind is to create a repository of PK3s with many choices!
    TEXTURES ARE INCLUDED... ! It's a personal mix of Rygel and QRP!

    the WEAPONS_DOWN PK3 is not working perfectly...
    the SSG is missing! , if you notice it , it's normal, i'll replace the PK3 soon!

      I have to wait 15 minutes between each download, this will take 2.75 hours.
      (i thought 7 was a girl) :/

        Excellent information, poor execution?

        Thanks! think its time to super backup these PK3 files so I will NEVER have to download them again after spending so much time to download something that should take a matter of minutes!

        Maybe I'll add all these PK3 files to a single zip and include them in the download section listed as DarkPlaces Inkub0 version" That way people will have fast easy access to all these DP modifications so they can beautify their DP engines!

          Phenom, this is not the definitive PK3s
          i have to work on them, because the weapons models are corrupted, and there are no textures yet...

              Dear all,

              I am sorry if I made you headache´s downloading them.
              I just reuploaded inkub0´s files to rapidshare.

              The trick you need to know is: reconnect
              This way you get a new IP and dont need to wait 15 minutes.
              I guess almost everybody is connecting the internet via dynamic IP´s.
              So all you router owners: reconnect
              And all you PPPOE friends: reconnect (even faster)

              So its just the ordinary rapidshare waiting time (very quick), because you have a new IP.

              I am sorry again, if I misunderstood inkub0´s intention/order of reuploading his pk3´s.

              Hope the reconnect tip will help some of you.

              PS: The real nightmare will begin, when the superhuge textures.pk3 will come
              This monster will weight over 1 GB.
              So I will HAVE to split it into 200 MB pieces (max. limit for rapidshare free users).
              Downloading from rapidshare should be done in the morning or afternoon for higher speed.

                Seven, dont worry

                i put for you on my website the fixed Weapons_down. Now inside you can find a fixed Rygel weapons turning

                When you got time replace it!

                I dont know if it's useful to put normalmaps, they are the QRP normalmaps!

                QRP+Rygel Textures will be uploaded before sunday...

                  OOOK fixed Weapons_down.PK3 , now you can download all the PK3s without problems.
                  Its strongly recomended to use the new Seven's effectinfo.txt


                  It rocks

                    I was thinking about Quake reforged project.
                    I read in the website that they will distribute their work with rygel's textures...
                    but Rygel's textures are obsolete now... (QRP _norms are better and better and better... and many other textures can be replaced with QRP ones.)

                    So....
                    Maybe one day it will possible to tune up a texture pack for Quake Reforged guys. It will be a great thing!

                      Hi inkub0, great job there. May I suggest thet you add some readme.txt in each pack to describe what it does and if there are any conflicts with other packs. Like for example fraggers-moster-skins or osjclatchford's weapons and gibs.
                      Also, about you're last post, you think it's possible di merge QRP normal textures with the comprehensive reygel's pack?

                        Yes. I created a merged-pack that is 1,1Gb big...
                        I think before Sunday we can have it uploaded and ready for download.
                        I can easily add a readme.txt, that explains all the features and compatibility problems until tomorrow...
                        for now, try to overwrite QRP normals on Rygel textures. There are some glitches, but it's a good choice for now.
                        Another thing: Use the new Seven DP water, not this. Seven released v0.32 that is better

                          If it's not a lot to ask, could any of you fix the flags for v_Spike.mdl in Rygel's pack not working correctly with Seven's great effects? (flags should be 12 I tried doing it myself today, but both QME and Quark completely refuse to open most models today (funny, even the ones I edited about a month ago to restore rotation using QME...maybe it's just not a good day to be a Quaker :S)

                            I see that nobody did it, so here you go.

                            For the future:
                            If you want to change a flag in a md3 model, you cannot use qme (it can only open .mdl).
                            Please use LordHavocs modeltool.
                            1.) Extract it
                            2.) put the model in the same directory
                            3.) run this commandline:
                            modeltool --flags X g_rock2.mdl
                            where "X" is the flag number
                            "g_rock2.mdl" is just a placeholder.

                            And you are done
