I jest though. I get that you don't enjoy them yourself, but from what I've seen, non Q1 posts are generally kept to the other games section. :v

I would say that we need more Q1 related posts, but I have nothing to post in relation to quake 1. So I can't exactly change that, thus without any contribution to make I have no need to complain. idk, it just seems like a waste of time. (Since it's not like people haven't mentioned it already)

so ull get a mix of posts about doom, hexen, etc.

actually posting about modern games will result in people coming here from a Google Search.

I have to disagree with you, homie. Quake 2, Q3, Q4, Q Live, etc. are all VERY important. Think about it... If it wasn't for Q2's existence, Quake 1 would have died after a few years. People would be scratching their heads and asking themselves: "Quake what?"

"I love Quake but I hate Quake 2. Quake 2 is pure garbage..." <== I actually see that as a contradiction.
