lol...what? Your mailing list is aggressive and pushed on people. Why would I want to get mail from something I have no interest in? I tell you what, I'll sign you up to get a newsletter about sales on "feminine napkins" and other vaginal hygiene info/supplies, and you can't unsubscribe. You'll get the newsletters you never agreed to receive and like it.... That's kinda how I feel about your mailing list.

If there was a "subscribe to our mailing list" feature I promise you it would have been unchecked. You know, sending subscription mail without a working unsubscribe footer in the mail is not legal. You have to provide people with a way to opt out of your list, and buried on some site in a profile page is not acceptable.

The mailing list is my personal contacts... not a 10k list of people I got no idea.

You been removed... you just had to let me know... but venting about it to the entire community is just giving Quake ONE Network more visibility... I don't complain.

It's not a 'newsletter' just a invitation... later we will have real mailing lists (many) from which you will always have the option to unsubscribe... you might think I'm just a amateur playing with mailing lists but I'm not at all... I been doing this for years.

I'm taking this in burst's now, I've just recently heavily fired up BF4 again. Mark burnt me out last night by asking me if he could have Mom changed to W0W and I lost my shit on him last night, basically due to I dunno, trivial shit.

People know him as mark, now they know him as Mom,and now he want's to abandon ship for another persona that doesn't even reflect who he's known as heavily in this community.


Q.Mark[0!0] = Mom = soon to be W0W if Solecord hooks him up,cuz I'm not capable or inclined even if I could. Incognito or Anonymous characters really gets me going o_O So imagine ,better yet,don't.

Smart move. I should have never given mine out to anyone either. Unfortunately i use a block feature to stop email's i do not want. Mark aka MOM does send out Email's quite frequently.

NO doubt! I signed up for Quake I Network, decided it wasn't for me and now I get a slew of "newsletters" from them with no unsubscribe link at the bottom. I went beyond spam filtering and told my client not to even acknowledge those mails, send them back. I don't recall even being asked if I wanted to receive the mail in the first place which makes me hate QIN even more... too fucking presumptuous. Like, I sign up and now it's a given that this is my favorite shit ever? It's not.

I never even joined it and he sent me an email, because he found it on my profile listed under my instant messenger account. You can totally report the domain for spamming and get his IP blacklisted lol.

@solecord...naaah. I like mom and understand this is just who he is, how he rolls. It's a little annoying but it's not really all that major. My spam filter thingy seems to be doing what I told it to so, basically problem solved.

Anyone else wants to get ride of my private contacs (so called mailing list)... go tell the entire world then... thank you!
