I love how people DM guys get banned for "poaching" CA players. But when Ctf players poach a CA game, no bans are handed out. Why? because a majority of CA players are also CTF players. But it's perfectly fine for a CA game of 4v4 dwindle down to a 1v1v1 as long as it's to play CTF.


But God forbid a 4v4 CA game dwindle as a result of a DM game.

I'm not saying that in either situation, should a ban be the result, but that those that are claiming an injustice is being done, should look at it objectively.

Soltuion: say there is a CA server full of people, and someone notices they have a solid group of ppl down for a different mod, (dm or ctf or any other mod), the one guy that notices it, says it one time "looks like we got enough for -insert mod here-, i'll be -insert mod's server addy-" then they leave and wait it out. If no one joins, then they go back and play CA, if others join then, that's what the majority wants to play. That's as square as it can be. Repeated asking or begging (which is usually the case) should then get a mute, then a ban if it persists.

Rambo is right, and i didn't say you specifically poached. i was just aggravated that anytime we get close to a good 3v3 or 4v4 CA game, someone has to "HEY WE GOT CTF'ERS!" "hey we got enough for 2v2 tdm!" if that's what everyone wants to do, fine. I'm all for freedom of quake (to a point) but atleast give those of us that have been waiting on the server for 2 hours for a decent sized game the satisfaction of playing a 3v3 or 4v4 CA game before bolting to your mod where i don't rape you all at.

Y'all are gonna fuck around and make me play CTF and start raping that shit too, then where u gonna run too? runequake? or under Tal's polka-dot skirt?
