Everyone,

QuakeOne.com was down for a period this afternoon, 1/17/2011. There was a power outage at the data center where the site is hosted. The power was restored in a quick time but it took awhile for the server to come back online due to system checks that occur when a server goes out.

I am still looking into hosting DNS elsewhere so that game server DNS is not lost when something like this happens. I'll keep you all updated.

Have you thought about DynDNS.com - Free Domain Name, Managed DNS, Email Services

It's worked very well for me for years.

Yes, but their custom DNS service only allows up to 75 entries per domain, and their next plan up is too expensive ($30+/month). I've got 78 entries currently. I'm sure there's some that can be removed, but l don't think there's many that can be removed.
