What are end1.bin and end2.bin?

Is it safe to delete them?

Yes, you can delete them. They're text files that were showed up by the DOS version of Quake in the DOS prompt after exiting the game.

If I recall correctly, the Engoo engine may display them, but I'm not aware of any other non-DOS engine that does.
