i downloaded that texture pack for darkplaces called rygel-dp-texturepack-high.pk3. now how do i get it to work? sorry for asking all these questions its just im retarded when it comes to this stuff.
Try putting it in the quake\id1 folder and see if that makes it work. It should at least mostly work.
[The true completely correct answer is --- if I recall -- you are supposed to use some gamedir but I don't have time to re-investigate and the texture pack is so massive I don't keep it on my hard drive so I'd need to redownload = I can't do this quick]
