Rook did a kick-ass job with the changes to support Dredd's automatic map rotation, but I'm so impatient that I have to say I'd prefer not seeing the intermission and instead see
"Map change in 5 seconds"
"4"
"3"
"2"
"1"
but if intermission and your "5 second count down" are the same length, whats the difference besides the intermission view?

Sometimes people view intermission as a good time to leave.

I believe in the new mod we should be able to vote on team only observation, there are some players (teams) that use teamspeak in this game to tell others the health/location of an opposing player.. even in pub games. Without an admin, this would be a great feature to limit teams to obs only their team.
If they really want to watch both teams, the "observer" status should let them do so.

It has a team camera lock option, it has to be set in a config file.
(I don't think an admin can turn it on, maybe I'm wrong.)

I'm adding an optional color "dot" [well, actually it's a square] in the top left corner in the next version of ProQuake that shows the color of your team.
I almost always forget my team color when I switch colors.
It'll be cl_colorshow. It'll be off by default.

Tis' what I'm saying! I want weapon eff for single rounds.

that is why proquake needs colored crosshair like qrack has.. in qrack i make my crosshair match my team color so i always instantly know what team i'm on..
see here how to do it in qrack..
