Beyond Belief re-textured - QuakeOne

so I like this mod a lot and I noticed one of the textures is basically a quake texture combined with another one. here on bbelief4.

the texture lng-brick4 is a mix of metal5_6 and wbrick1_5

since I was feeling sort of lazy, I asked my friend Christine if she can edit them since she has A LOT of experience with graphic design, illustrator, and photoshop.

the end result?

she carefully copied and pasted the metal without making it look unnatural. she then added the shadows to make it look like the original.

so am I going to start a re-texturing project for bb? idk. there really isn't too many new textures. they are mainly all regular quake textures which QRP already covered. so maybe? ;oO

on bbsecret, there's a texture named lng-metal4_4. its like metal4_4, only with a field goal shaped grout.

Christine comes to the rescue again!

^^ going to fix the middle line up so it isn't such a solid black

next texture I plan to have done is beyond belief's original wall9_8 texture on bbstart.

You rock. There have been some epically good female quakers. One legendary girl named "Killcreek" (I think) was one of Quake's finest. I highly recommend it as a way to blow off steam. And I'm sure there's a Mac port, but I could be wrong.

Darkplaces has a mac build if it's client. You just need to copy the legit id1 files from the original quake game folder.
