Mindz's new gaming rig.

Computer Case ; ASUS VENTO 3600 Red Steel ATX Mid
CPU ; Phenom II 955BE Deneb 3.2 125w AM3 (965 offered little reason to get it)

Mobo ; ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 AMD 785G HDMI ATX AMD

Memory ; 2x Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

Video ; 2 x ASUS CuCore Series EAH5770 CuCore/2DI/1GD5 Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5

Gaming Case ;

I had a hard time on whether to build this rig around a HD5870's very large price tag or just do my homework and come out on top without my wallet coming out on bottom as well, and that lead me to check out the beast known as the HD5770 , a mid-range DX11 ready video card, and several days of researching benchmarks, it became apparent that two HD5770 > one HD5870 in nearly every benchmark.

I like it. Just try to get a better power supply. The power supply is the backbone of any rig. Never trust high-performance, high-power parts to a generic power supply. Generic power supplies have worked for you in the past, but you're pushing the envelope with that 125w processor instead of the (65w?) one you have now. That and the 5770 eats way more power than the 8500gt

That has already been taken care of in the new hardware section, I just didnt list the PSU or the Artic Silver 5..

Newegg.com - RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-730SS 730W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Modular LED Power Supply - Power Supplies

Raidmax , seems sufficient enough.

comments about the Vento 3600 ; LOL, yah. The geek in me required I buy some really nice tower, and since I had already invested into ASUS mobo and ASUS video cards , might had as well represent with the bad ass ASUS Vento 3600 tower.Now the only question is, does all that cosmetic sexyness offer more than just eye visuals?
