Help with Gfx.wad, will not work in quake. HELP - QuakeOne

hey again, i am working in xwe with the quake 1 gfx.wad. It wont let me save it! Its the wad format i guess. I cant even import anything into it! I made a new gfx.wad, and it wouldnt load in quake, something about wad2 i think. Is there any way to say as a quake wad using xwe or use another program? thanks

this site is less devoted to those types of things,just because your on a quake1 website doesnt mean someone magically has the answer.
gfx.wad is just a crosshair last time I checked,maybe im wrong. You might get more assistance in a coders forum,lets say for example, inside3d?

alright, this is probably the most alive forum i know for quake 1. It holds the menu stuff and hud icons

inside3d.com is your best bet for great modding help.

Fimg does work fine for editing the wad2 files, but I personally feel for certain things that AdQEdit is easier.
