To play online: Create a gamedir folder in your Quake folder named "rmq" (i.e. c:\quake\rmq) and extract contents of zip and start Quake with "-game rmq" in the command line and connect to bigfoot.quake1.net:26001.
Note: To play online, it is recommended to use DarkPlaces, Qrack, ProQuake 4 or DirectQ. FitzQuake 0.85 is not NAT fixed and does not support direct ip:port connecting, but if you are experienced you can probably make it work.

Remake Quake is a Quake modification featuring new weapons, sounds, armor shards and new maps and features. It is currently in development.
