So I decided to give Netquake a try, for a few reasons.
1.) I think I only played netquake to a limited degree back in 1997.
2.) I ping about 15-20 to the servers that I see people playing on, so movement seems to be okay like in QW.
3.) There's people playing and I like fragging.
But here are the things I am trying to figure out, I have a visual problem that makes it hard for me to see things in games, so in most other games you can adjust a lot of things like visuals. In quakeworld you can just turn off about anything you want... but with Qrack is it possible to change the explosion type? it's hard to see the enemy when shooting, in QW I have my explosion to a purple mist which is easy on the eyes. I found out you can't change models like for enemyskins and stuff, typically I have a bright green or bright red so this is not good but... i can compensate for other things. There was also a command that someone gave me that drew an outline on the players and items? like a small dark one, this helped a little bit also.
