I can barely see my gun in Qrack. I actually prefer having the huge gun like in winquake. Is there a setting to modify this behavior?

Cl_gun_fovscale will make it look normal no matter what fov
I can't remember the exact cvar off hand but u can move it forwards back up down left right. Just look thru your cfg and see anything that looks pertinent.
