  • New Server Listing Request

Some people at quake discord asked me to put my server on "the list." They didn't tell me which one, but I am assuming they mean this one. The servers page said to "make a post," so here it is.

My netquake server is at sbdm.tk:26000, and in IP form is 192.241.141.223:26000. I don't have a purchased domain, as I have to pay those monthly, and that isn't within my budget (because, ya know, I'm 16 and don't have a job). Hell, I have no idea how most of these servers still have their addresses.

Anyway, you should put it under active dev, as I am still working on it.

I have no idea if it autofills the names and mods, so here is how I would like it structured:

    Name: SpecialBomb's Deathmatch
    mod: sbdm

anyway, thanks to whoever does this stuff.

As far as I can tell, following this link allows you to setup a free "servequake.com" domain name:

    http://freeddns.noip.com/?d=servequake.com

It is also possible that if you private messaged Solecord, he could hook you with a quakeone.com domain name like "myserver.quakeone.com"
Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. When a portal opens to the antimatter universe, my opposite is just me with a goatee.

So while you guys all have to fight your anti-matter counterparts, me and my evil twin will be drinking a beer laughing at you guys ...

Yeah, I don't know him well, and he seems pretty important. I'll talk to him.

I can't do that, actually. that link you sent me is just a promotional page, and I can't actually register sbdm.servequake.com. The "d?=" thing at the end of url just replaces what is in the website with any text you put, so that means I can put google.com and say I can get that domain. Yeah, no I can't. solecord seems to own servequake.com, so I will have to ask him if he is cool with with me adding on to his domain.
