Awesome work here
I think it's all very much appreciated by all the Quake enthusiasts here (and probably elsewhere too), and now with a more widened platform reach
I have created some Quake YouTube videos and based on the views (300+ as of now), the interest is still present in this game but it was hard to send them to a specific place - seems like a decent 'centralized' Quake-all location is somewhat missing - so I sent them to RuneQuake (for now). Idk about this place because it seemed to have fallen into disarrayLast edited by Gem; 11-06-2023, 12:25 AM.

Quake Rerelease support added to Zircon.
(I did a clean before/after and gave source code links to the DarkPlaces devs so they have it as a reference.)

Hey Seven!
Looks like the SMC download link is working again, people were looking for that. I guess that got fixed recently somehow.

Hello Baker,
Glad to see you and doing what you can do best and are a master in.
Screenshots and Gifs are looking really cool.
Best wishes,
Seven

No problem. Anyhow, it compiles and runs perfectly now. Thanks for getting that working -- that's awesome.

Wow! I messed up and didn't include the src. The Linux fix is in v 36.
That's real unusual for me. I was in a hurry.

Hmm. All I see is the binary in the 8-25(c) zip.: zirconenginewindowslinux20230825c.zip
I guess I should try the 8-22 version?

Source is in the zip. Let me know if problem is solved.Originally posted by gulliver-trans View PostHey, Baker.Thank you for looking into that. Sure, I can test-compile that new version. Where do I download the source?
(P.S. The new pre-compiled binary appears to run fine.)

Hey gulliver, can you test compile on your Linux here in a few days for a version that removes "dpsoftrast" that I'm going to do?Originally posted by gulliver-trans View PostThe water effects are "whoa."
Portals too? Nice to see.
I am hoping it fixes the compile issue you have. Hemebond, a different DarkPlaces linux user has a similar issue.
It's real hard to fix a compile issue I can't cause to happen, but I'm hopeful my idea will fix your issue and Hemebonds for compiling.
