Do you guys eat turkey on xmas day too or do you favour something else?

a turkey isn't just for christmas, its for boxing day and the entirety of the rest of the week too...

iiuc americans tend to have goose for christmas. can't say I blame them. turkey twice in any year can be a bit much.

My family usually makes ham on Christmas, and I don't eat much of it myself. I'm not sure why but at my age now, I've gotten to a point where I just don't enjoy ham and other pork products as much as I used to. Unless it's bbq pulled pork, I love that stuff.

We buy a small turkey & a small ham now which gets eaten up in a day or two.
Trying to minimise on waste really. The small ones would eat cardboard if it had Mcdonalds written on it, they don't appreciate roast dinners.

They still get them and their fast food intake is very limited but it will be nice when we can all eat the same thing without whinging (fussy little pains in the butt...).

We avoid processed meats but I like a nice sweet & sour pork and turkey makes a nice Indian curry.
(with garlic naan, of course, YUM!)
