  • Quake Expo 2016 is now open!

Today marks the day that Quake Expo 2016 is now open! Please visit qexpo2016.com and check out all the booths to take a gander at some great custom mods and maps. Feel free to make an account and post some comments on your favorite projects!

If you're not sure what Quake Expo is, it's a place online where you can catch up on what a lot of quake modders are currently working on. Whether you're new to the game (welcome!), coming back to it or have been here all along, there will be something there for you to enjoy.

It's still great to see all of the people who still support and customize this game 20 years later!

I gandered for a little while. I'm glad to see so much being done. The irc client integration into Quakespasm is interesting.

Thanks to the booth creators who put in so much effort. Thanks to everyone who fleshed-out the rest, including ArrrCee and Happy Friar with new feature posts, Ionous with MapJam updates, Tronyn for a game design interview/essay with John Romero, and Adam Ellis for debuting the epic novella “Duel of Death: A Quake Story”.
Please stop by and comment on these projects. It's the first Expo with a comment system, an easy way to give constructive feedback. And it's still not too late to make your own booth!

Wait. What? We can still create a booth, in the middle of the expo?

Yep, if it's ready to post by the 29th, a booth can be made.
