Weird quad damage effect

I've been downloading and installing tons of HD/visual improvement mods over the past few days and decided to fire up the game and test them out. Overall the game looks great, but something is injecting a weird effect when I pick up the quad damage powerful. The whole screen rotates between bizarre colors:

What is the best way to identify which file is doing this?

Nevermind, I found it. I turned on most smc options to experiment with them and see what they do.

It was the "set psycho" option in smc, which I've now turned off.

Redneck Rampage Rides Again used to have a kinda-sorta similar effect whenever you'd bump into a peyote cactus in the desert where the colors would go all psychedelic and the fov would slowly warp in and out.
