qrack help

Hey,

I keep getting an error when trying to play qrack.

I can play through the slipgate complex no problem, but when i finish the level and click to load the next one, i crash to the desktop with the following error:

mod_extradata caching failed!

is there a fix for this in the config file?

any help would be appreciated!

I had something like this happen the second i tried killing anything in e1m2 or higher and here's whats worked for me

1. create a shortcut to Qrack.exe somewhere

2. right click on it and go to "Properties"

3. in the text-space for "Target" it should show where your Qrack.exe is located. something like.. "c:\program files\games\quake\qrack.exe" complete with quotation marks.

4. after qrack.exe, add this (outside the quotation marks)

-mem 32 -zone 8012

(in the end it'll look sorta like this)

"c:\program files\games\quake\qrack.exe" -mem 32 -zone 8012
