elaborate on the problem. what is different? when you play the mission packs, are you using the command line -hipnotic for mission pack 1 for the shortcut and -rogue for mission pack 2?

here is an enhancement for the wad on Scrouge of Armagon =]

    http://runecentral.com/joequake/hipnotic_wad.zip

make a folder called textures in your hipnotic folder and extract that in there!

also, some egypt, maya, and rome textures that are used a lot in mission pack 2. they are frequently seen in a lot of other maps too. extract this in your qrack/textures directory.

egypt, rome, and maya textures.zip - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage

I don't know who the author is, but he did an outstanding job. I looked for the original source, but couldn't find it anywhere. so I zipped these up just for you and anyone else who wants them =]

        Thanks for the help

The principal diference is the awesome lighting of the original quake, these colors are not presents in the mision packs.

sounds like you need .lit files for the maps...did anyone ever make some for the mp's?

actually, I have a bunch of lits I made with FTE. some of them would screw up. some came out nice. what I want you to do is download FTE here http://users.tpg.com.au/users/moodles/win32-fteglqw.zip

then, make a shortcut. add -hipnotic or -rogue. whatever mission pack you want to start with. then open it and type r_loadlit 2. then type map start or whatever map you want lit and watch it go! keep in mind, sometimes the lits won't be perfect. they mainly effect slime, lava, torches, and yellow light areas. the results are very nice for the most part if you don't feel like manually making a lit. after those are made, go to the fte folder, go to maps and drag the lits to a directory in the mission pack folder name lits. then open qrack and look in amazement!

the start map for Dissolution of Eternity with a lit made with FTE!

                  Mhcolour and FTE

Well in the end i find a solution a old version of Mhcolour and fte for a couple of maps that won't work with this.
