mouse issues in ID games

I had to set m_directinput 0 to fix that in the cfg.

Logitech G9. Running a dual-boot with vista64 and xp 32 bit. Running in xp works fine. But in vista until recently has worked just fine. Even just last week I ran it and the mouse worked like a charm.

Any ideas on why my mouse would be incredibly sluggish in ID games? If I move the mouse very slowly, it doesn't even register the movement. Works fine in any other game. So far I've only tried quake1 and doom3 but the same problem exists in both games. In the past this has happened, but restarting always fixed it. That no longer helps anymore though. Any ideas would be appreciated.
