  • Qrack on Windows 7

Will Qrack work on windows 7? I'm trying to get it to, but the operating system comes up with a message saying qrack.exe has stopped working. However, winquake.exe and glquake.exe work fine. Any ideas?

Also, whats the default screen resolution for Qrack? (this could be helpful, and i've forgotten)

I know that R00k uses Windows 7 so I guess that's one answer.

Alright, i figured it out. All I had to do was run the game in compatability mode for windows XP, like I guessed.

Yes this is currently the way to go.
I need to read up on how to make it natively compatible, and also a x64 bit version too!

DirectQ runs native on Windows 7 x86 and x64 with no compatibility hacks. (So does stock GLQuake, by the way).

I'd guess that you're using a Windows API function that may have been deprecated, or maybe you need to check out some of those DLLs you're linking with.
