depends on what engine your using I think .
You change that setting if im not mistaken in Qrack its in Options , then Console Size (adjusting console size will adjust hud size too.)Want to get into playing Quake again? Click here for the Multiplayer-Startup kit! laissez bon temps rouler!

What mindz said. con_width and con_height control the 2d size and con_textsize u can tweak the text size. con_force_aspect_ratio (iirc) to morph to native aspect ratio.
Or if u use the video options menu all the above will be set automatically.
I added all this after i was getting pm's "ok i have 1920x1080 and wtf i cant see the console letters, and the hud is itsy-bitsy!"...

try 'vid_conwidth' and 'vid_conheight'
thats what the commands are in DP. perhaps they are the same in engine X.are you curious about what all there is out there in terms of HD content for quake?

I've had a quick look over the Engine X source and I don't see this capability implemented.IT LIVES! http://directq.blogspot.com/

edit:found command. it is vid_consize. default is -1. setting it to 1 makes the hud size the same as 640x480. no other cvar. i tested 1-15.Last edited by Syluxguy28O3; 10-07-2012, 02:33 PM.
