New Quakeserver Damage_UK

Hi guys,girls ,

Launched a new server called Damage , the server is located in UK (Great Britain).

damage.servequake.com port 26000

Server supports:

: FFA mode like on EuroQuake.
: Midair mode
: Rocket arena
: Headhunters
: RuneQuake
: Matchmode
: Practice

Magic commands will work too !
Example : You can leave a message on the serverboard like this : say !msg Hello World.
Message can be viewed by : say !msg
To view all the magic commands : say !help

This server will also host all the quakemaps that are on the EuroQuake(bigfoot) server , source for maps :

120-125ms ping to the server from FLORIDA (USA)

40-70 ping depending on my connection (downloading a lot through steam, so I'm looking forward to the average ping I'll get)

I only just saw this, and I'm afraid I'll have to pass. I'm going to be free from around 7pm till 12pm sunday, so if you're free any time then, let me know.

I'll try and pop along around 10pm on Sunday then. Just make sure you have a big enough body bag and perhaps a dust pan and brush to put what's left of me in the bin when you've blasted me to bits

For some reason, last night Pol decided to use his new marine model which from what I can gather was made entirely of paper thin glass If only he had used this previously he wouldn't strike fear in to the hearts of his opponents.. well... me anyway Some say that in his wallet, he keeps a photo of his wallet... and that his teeth glow in the dark. All we know is he's called Polarite

It was good fun last night, it was a shame Jer was having some ping issues.

Well as I had hoped, some good natured fun was had tonight and my thanks to OMac for being such a good sport and some very challenging competition. Hopefully we can do it again sometime soon

Aside from input and framerate issues, the ping was great and the game was fun.

Also, I'm not sure if I should make a post about this, but the idea of a weekly thing every friday at 10pm GMT on the server was mentioned, so if anybody's interest just come along at that time.

(If this does become a weekly thing I'll probably do a load of graphics for it eventually.)

Well another few good natured games were held last night on Damage playing the Aggressor, A2, and north maps..



I think it's probably fair to say it was fun and I'm sure we'll do our best to make it on Friday at 10pm GMT. My thanks to the mighty Jer and a new player called Hammy for being such good sports.
