You could say that most available survival games start you off that way, I am thinking of games like The Forest, The Long Dark and the all the zombie survival genre like Day-Z, Project Zomboid and even Minecraft.

I'm guessing you mean scratching out a living on the streets of a big city.
Sort of like GTA but harder and having you start off in a dumpster on under a bridge. Would your goal be just to stay alive in an incredibly harsh world or would you work your way up the social ladder, more like GTA?

hell yeah Bruce, don't know how much influence that will have but. I always welcome throwback first person shooters that have the same gameplay style of Q1.
