I did some of my usual research, being very impressed with outstanding performance/pings of quake.phathookups.com
Looks like the server host is
http://www.fatpipeserver.com/
And they seem to be doing a special where for $20 per month, you can get a 10 player server.
Pretty nice! Plus they seem to discount it when you pay 6 or 1 year in advance.

Phathookups appears to be using the Chicago location, which explains why Tical gets -3 ping there. :d :d
I did this research mainly because I know per player prices vary, and you never quite know what you are going to get from a server host. I know Phenom seemed to have problems with the sqpro ProQuake executable on IronRocket and that tends to be the best and most trustworthy Quake server (although I like that squake-ihoc running at Bomber). That couldn't be an issue with this host.
I might add, I've done some other research on server hosts checking pricing, etc. Eventually I might post that, but that kind of info is very easy to find with Google.
