FYI, do see/predict any issues with using Qrack to host a dedicated server? I've been using it some and so far it's been fine. Curiously, I can't host a pro-quake dedicated and have players connect to it, but I can with Qrack.

Where can I download the fix for the Shotgun? the texture is all black. I tried to download this HD pack but the link is broke and I can't find a working one anywhere

theres a borked texture in that pak, open the pak file and delete/replace the texture.

Duke, I'm pretty sure that forum member mindz hosts a version with a replacement for the borked super shotgun view model.

Thanks guys! one more thing, HD textures don't show up on the player model. Anyway to fix that?

Update: Enabled Q3 models but now I have another problem, the texture is black on the shirt and pants.

for high quality textures for the normal player model, http://quakeone.com/qrack/dist/teamskins.pak use this pak.

for the md3 you may need to rename the textures that are provided with that model. or try this one http://quakeone.com/qrack/dist/md3player.pak

and for both models use cl_teamskin 1

I like the design so far Also in the past, the versions were out of date on the old site vs what players were telling me they were using on the server lol.. and as a result even I got an old version, without knowing what I got. lol, so the confusion over the versions was deff a small problem there

Also maybe a small guide to the many custom console commands would be nice (since there are lots of new ones that differ from the classic proquake) - like can you disable smoke trails etc..? things keep popping up in my mind with the settings lol so it would be nice to check the 'qrack tome' of settings hehe

Lastly, I love that spinning quake coin hehe it looks very nice
