r_clearcolor is not working at all in FTE QuakeWorld

  • r_clearcolor is not working at all in FTE QuakeWorld

    While r_clear is not equal to 0 the background solid color is always black no matter what is the value of r_clearcolor at all.

    I know this is so because when I use noclip to get outside of the map that's what I see.
    This both appears and seems that r_clearcolor is both just and simply ignored and black is always used as the background solid color while r_clear is not equal to 0.

    Why this is so!?
