Different Quake Clients?

Can someone do me a favor and post all the different quake clients and what types they are ? please and thank you to anyone who helps!

oh, ic ? i dont see how its rude for one the quake community is slow on reply's... so to get the best advice and different advice why not post in more than 1 community forum? that way i can get the most information for better reference? (not trying to be rude, just trying to do the best i can with whats offered to me.)

so far iv messed around with proquake, qrack, ezquake, darkplaces (which happens to be the only one i can get a server up that people can join,) joequake, and i belive thats it . basically i want to host on something other than dark places (cause it actually slows down the mod im hosting online) and make it public which im having issues with. So far qrack plays the best but i cant seem to get a server up that the qrack client can connect to.

In my opinion, the main problem with Quake is there is no single client that eliminates the need for the other ones.
