Hello inkub0,
you will find the files you need in post #17 in this thread.
You dont need to edit your config.cfg for it.
Torchlight sprites from dpmod has nothing to do with your config.cfg.
You must edit your progs.dat. (maybe you mixed those two files up).
When it comes to new progs.dat you usually speak of a "mod".
Whereas using different textures or "DP pretty water" is just a gimmick.
Please try the link from post #17.
If you have additional questions, feel free to ask (also via PM is OK).
May I suggest this extended mod: klick
It simply adds nice footstep sounds on top of it.
Maybe you want it as well.
Best wishes,
Seven

Thanks everyone for the answers!
I've combined Moon[Drunk]'s & jeank's sky1 texture and got this:
You may download this animated 2-layer sky1 here: Download sky1.zip
Another version, closer to classic:
Download: http://www.filefront.com/17655426/sky1_2.zip
Does anyone have all id1 map sky files?
I mean complete QUAKE\ID1\textures\EXMY\SKYZ filestructure with Moon[Drunk]'s skies? Maybe you'd post it somewhere to avoid others from the routine work?
Seven,

Also, i'd ask you to separate additional mods, not to compile them all-in-one pack, if it won't lose your time. For example, i'd like to use nailgun fix and destroyable gibs and don't want to hear footsteps and see big sprites.Last edited by BEEF34T3R; 12-16-2010, 01:24 AM.

This thread will answer your question: here
You will find all textures (incl. skies) for all maps (incl. mission packs).
No, I will not seperate them. Sorry. There is not time for this.
If you dont like footsteps, simply exchange the .wav files with silent ones inside the pack.
You will hear nothing then.
Kind Regards,
Seven

Mini rant.
Why on earth does QRP contain 2560x1536 textures? 1920x1536? 1280x1408?
Seriously - that's nasty shit. Resize to powers of two and learn how graphics hardware actually works, please.IT LIVES! http://directq.blogspot.com/

mh, maybe they're for engines with GL_ARB_texture_non_power_of_two, to avoid weird aspect ratios on replacement textures?

I'm thinking more about the engines that don't support it, the hardware that doesn't support it, or the hardware that claims to support it but will drop you back to software emulation (or crash) if you try to use it.
Not an issue for me, I've supported non power of two for ages, but in other cases I think a higher quality offline resize to power of two is a much lesser evil than GL_ResampleTexture plus round-up on a 2560x1536 texture.IT LIVES! http://directq.blogspot.com/
