    So i was bullshitting with perov, and we came up with this idea and we thought it would kickass. It would be a COOP game with 2 teams. Objective is to kill as many monsters as possible and you get points for the monsters you kill. each monster is worth so many points. You could get bonuses too for not dieing and whatnot. You couldnt kill the other team. Hmm yea thats all i could think for now. sounds like fun. someone should make it. it would be l33t.

      The way I want to do it is by spawning one team out of the exit point and the other at the entrance and have the two teams fight team deathmatch style, but with big grizzling monsters every where.

        that could be interesting, levels over when all the monsters are dead, but you can kill the opposing team for points.

          But what I want is 1 team as monsters, the other team as players, and players fight to make it to the exit. Monsters try to stop them. Something along those lines. Like duelcoop above.

              I'm vaugely remembering a mod where you had a bunch of monsters to choose from and you'd wander around the level (as your chosen monster) till you found the computers chosen monster, (then it killed you because normally you were a scrag and it was a shambler). I think it might also have been possible to play the game against a human and also do the single player levels as a monster. I'm sure I can remember being an ogre in e1m1. I'll have to see if I can find it again, if you could get the source for that it would be awesome.

                Hmm. I also remember a mod where every player was a Monster, but it was purely DM, and you could choose your monster class. Hmm. Actually I think you could even choose player class.

                  Oh, right, that'll be my memory getting tangled up. mon_dm I have definately played before, I'm going to have to have a look at the code for that, maybe add a menu and bots, modify the speed the different monsters move at for even better authenticity and so on. With that as a code base monster vs player teamplay is defiately possible. Probably.
