"DP Pretty Water" Update

No, that is not normal.
That looks a little like the dirty version V0.4
Disco writes, that he uses V0.2 (thats the one from Urre).
Disco,
Please check if you have another "DP pretty water" pk3 in your id1 folder.
It looks like you have and it overwrites Urres V0.2 shader.
I will see later today (at home) or latest tomorrow what else could cause your issue.
Please make sure you use my unedited config.cfg (without any additional cvars you mentioned in the PM)
Also be sure that you dont run Spinvis´s teleporter pack temporary, as it contains water, lava and teleporter shader all in one pk3.

Thanks for looking at this. Yes i am using your unedited Config file, you made a "Backup of config.cfg" so i renamed the 1st one which is yours also but included a lit of changes i made and then used your backup as my config.cfg
I dont think i downloaded any teleporter packs i will double check when i get home. I know for sure the "DPWater.pk3 i downloaded is the one you told me to download for v.2. It is dated back in 2008 as well.

Disco needs crystal clear water to take his fantastic shots.
So this version should not be used for regular Single Player.
Just as you mentioned.

Wow Seven that screenshot the water looks positively realistic-waterlike and positively disgusting as sewer water should look!
I think you've struck a perfect balance there- I'm about to install it now:
On another note- you're not going to believe this, but ever since I installed Nergal and Alfader's Reforged monsterpack (and had it replace my files) it seems to have sorted out my glitch about the shadows!
Don't ask- my setup is truly something quite ill- but thought you might get a laugh out of that!Check out my awesome Deviant art page!

By the way- something I noticed, that solid color, reflections and translucency seem to get stronger or weaker when you move closer and further away from the surface, is this correct?Check out my awesome Deviant art page!

Hello King,
yes it is.
If you use "DP New Teleport" you will see it in the start map very nicely.
I guess it cannot be avoided, since LordHavoc only implemented a few Q3 shader variables (not all).
If one day all shader possibilities are available, there will be much to improve.
Then also our beloved "DP New Lava" will look better
