Rename the model but dont rename the textures and it will work fine (so name the mdl v_nail2.mdl - but keep the v_lava2 for the textures)

looks amazing ooppee. could you modify the model to work as a regular v_nail2 ?
i tried simply renaming the files , but darkplaces gives me an error "could not load texture: v_lava2"

so i'm guessing the mdl file itself is flagged to use v_lava2 texture . i could not open the model in qme to investigate. thx, your work is awesome.

Thank you very much ooppee.

I saw that you implemented some suggestions from WIP thread:
- added slightly lava structure on the spherical barrel part
- modified the angled brown ring around the barrels
These modifications are not shown in your upper screens.
(just an info for other users)



I guess the g_model is not used in-game, right ?
So its not implemented in your pack.

Seven provided me with a different Super Nailgun model and I finished up the gun using the content he provided. I will be making another version using the Super Nailgun model I use more which when released will be dubbed Type 2. Personal preference.


Same but in pitch black. Also in this screen is the Alternate texture which is in the zip.
