        Hey OoPpEe,
Thought I'd share that I use your stuff in my Quake which is mostly the HD for new spawns. I switch a lot of things in it to suit my own tastes and your powerups are definitely one of my favorites. I love the effect you created on the Quad especially.

Sadly I don't know, the pack I downloaded that included this Quad model didn't have any credits given.

Can't, it's ported from TF2 and would be illegal to release due to copyright.

                    Small request:
Could you also modify the more classic-looking Quad damage and Invulnerability from the Ruohis++ pack with your special effects? Would be much appreciated!

BTW: Gloss and normal maps actually ARE included in that pack. ^^

The Biosuit I removed the glow texture, made my own luma and made own gloss.
Yep I know they are included
The ones I had didn't have any gloss or anything - so those were custom.
If I was to do the classic design - I'd do a custom gloss too as if done right you get the look of energy pulsing through it.

Well, seems like an interesting idea to me.
Btw, somehow the invis ring doesn't have that shiny/shimmering look seen on the screenies as seen on the first page, as if some stuff wasn't loaded, or is some script file missing maybe?

                        *EDIT Nov 4*
In the meantime, I was able to pull it off on my own. Here are the original Quad Damage and the Invulnerability from kingennio's "Ruohis models++" pack with identical glowing effects (Flags: Quad Dmg 136, Invulnerability 3080).

Original Ruohis++ Quad Dmg/Invulnerability with glow (3.4 MB)

                        Enjoy the classic style!

                          hi

i like these models and effects ooppee...

the quad model is nice but its a little roughed up for me.

only a couple minor changes to its symmetry, now i love it.

                          here is a screenshot.

im trying to multiply effects on it but only one gets applied...here's my

                          modeltool command line.

                          modeltool --flags 8 128 qquad.md3

only rotation gets applied to the md3.

                          regards

                          Sean

                            Hello Sean,

The secret is in summing the values up.

                            8 + 128 = 136
                            modeltool --flags 136 qquad.md3
(strange name you have there for your model though)

Only one color can be hardcoded.
(Now you know why these values are always doubled: It makes them unique)

As you have read in webangels "effect" WIP thread, you will be able to add multiple custom effects to any model/object without hardcoding them with her final release.

                            Best wishes,
                            Seven

Yeah, thats why I added flags 136 (8 for rotation + 128 for purple effect) to the Quad and 3080 (8 for rotation + 1024 for fire effect + 2048 for "stardust" particles) to the Pentagram.

The only thing I still don't get working or I don't find convincing is the ring. Its surface looks kinda dull and not shiny at all, that could be improved. Best way would be to figure out how to add an reflective shader to the model, but I have no clue. xD

You always can add a pure white _gloss texture, it will then give it a very shiny look.
