I reckon it would be awesome if you added a few changes to the layout to add to some newness.
But yeah- I'm up for it!
By the way- something to consider is the use of small monsters in more places.
I reckon grunts and enforcers would actually make a big impact in all of the levels- as they're among the few enemies with a long range attack (especially the grunts who can hit a target instantly).
Similarly, lots of knights are sometimes a more interesting than merely replacing a few knights with a larger monster.

Ofcorse, im going to make a mod to go with it to make monsters harder or something like that....

Well im bored and i thought i give this a try for my own experience and to occupy me through the holidays
Ive got the ID source maps and going to add more monsters,secrets to them....
i might also tinker with the light to make it look better
So far ive done E1M1 and E1M2 and to be honest they are alot harder and gives you a bigger challenge IMO.
Since im not that far into my project i was wondering if this is a good idea and i would like you opinion
Also if feel like i should add something i will if i can (or take away so on)
