    Ok, I've played it.
    It seems like very basic, but not basic at all.
    There is no light on map - true
    ...no optimisation - true
    ...is primitive brushwork - true
    ...no solid texture theme - true
    BUT
    textures fited and/or aligned, not an ugly noob-random-texturing
    triggers and clip-brushes - ok
    text messages and something like motivation!
    SO again

    oh, I hate this standard methods! Anyone can make a map without crates?

    btw, nice to see a new blood in q1mapping. I think, this map is a good base for education, like texturing, lightning, detailing and so. My first quake map (it was 199 was worse.

    ...and Alice - name of my daughter (3 years old), so i'm slightly frustrated =)

    I have only looked at the screenshots, but I'd say you should work on the lighting (it looks fullbright to me). It always nice to see learning the basics of mapping

    Glad you enjoyed it and no worries bout func.

    I guess erm... my rather tight development schedule didn't allow me to fix the lighting. Yeah. Another point is that the building of this map was driven by hate, not aesthetic.

    That was fun. It was comparatively crappy, but it was enjoyable. Even though it wasn't very polished.

    Prepare to face management, haha.

    Bonus fun points for quad-shafting zombies. Just what I needed today.

    Edit: Don't post this at func_, I think the lighting doesn't meet their standards :-P

    Hi,

    I made a map to honor the german Internet Service Provider Alice. It's beta stilll so lemme know what you think.

    Story (see readme for details):
    Thousands want to get their revenge on Alice but YOU have been chosen by the movement to do the job! It's early in the
    morning and we have gotten you onto the grounds of the Alice headquarters. The employees are waiting in line for the security
    check right in front of you. Bypass the check by whatever means necessary and try to find a way into the main building.

    We have only sparse knowledge of what awaits you inside the building, but intelligence reports that the building has 6 floors
    that hold the different departments:

    I: customer support
    II: billing
    III: marketing
    IV: system administration
    V: security
    VI: management

    Make use of any weapons and other stuff you can find and follow the instrcutions you are given via radio messages!

    (Note: They may be many but we know they aren't too bright.)
