              Excellent work.
              Just one question - reflection in stained glass on the start map looks like there is a flat mirror before it. Will this be redone in future?

              "Planet" textures looks better, but I can't see myself in their reflections

                  Hello seanstar + FC Zvyozdochka,

                  Nahuel taught us 2 different things:
                  1.) Usage of dpreflectcube shader: klick
                  2.) Usage of dp_reflect shader: klick

                  Both have their pros and cons:
                  to 1.) Pro: You can make single areas in one texture reflective.
                  You dont need r_water
                  Cons: The reflection is only what the cubemap shows (NOT live; not a mirror)
                  to 2.) Pro: The reflection is LIVE. That is why you see yourself in it
                  Cons: You cannot make single area of a texture reflective.
                  It must be the complete texture.
                  You need r_water enabled


                  @ FC Zvyozdochka,

                  if you see a flat mirror in the windows, there are 2 possible reasons:
                  1.) You still use a shader, that Nahuel gave us.
                  Delete that one in case you want to use webangels pack.
                  Webangel included the dp_reflective shader with FULL distortion.
                  2.) You dont use normal textures for the windows.
                  The dp_reflect shader is FLAT, if you dont use a normal texture.

                  Webangel uses dpreflectcube in the planet texture in his V0.1 pack.
                  I also suggested to use dp_reflect instead

                      Sorry for offtopic webangel.

                      While webangel is working hard on her update, I had some crazy ideas last night.

                      It is of course absolutely not polished, just a quick sketch/draft of it.
                      It is for all those people, who like chromed things
                      I dont like it myself, to be honest. Just to keep you entertaint...

                          I think it would be a great feature in future versions of Darkplaces to combine both shaders.
                          I speak of creating one more shader for textures (perhaps texturename_refract.tga) to grade the level of reflection GLSL on any texture and in different sectors. I do not know nothing about opengl programming, but do you think this would be possible?

                            thanks webangel for this pack. i really like it, especially now with my new pc capable of runnig dp with all settings maxed.

                              Yeah it would be awesome for Darkplaces to add in a reflect/chrome option by using the texturename_reflect.tga
                              Make it required to be a greyscale image and:
                              pure white = 100% reflective
                              black = 0% relection
                              So you could make different parts have varied reflection.
