You know what's really sad? She probably could have knocked on that lady's door and said something like...

"I noticed some rhubarb growing in the alley behind your home. Is it yours?...May I have some?"

And I bet the owner would have been pleased to share it. Maybe crazy lady would have even made a friend.

We can't even come together over rhubarb, how the hell will we come together when something of importance necessitates it? The answer is simple. We wont and situations such as these will be the status quo.
