I've heard Ireland is beautiful.. but I've heard differently of the locals.. as long as you're white I think you'll be alright! (not sure if the rumors are true though!)

Well there's a few British. Maybe pop along to flanders or Bigfoot late in the evenings and meet Pol, Sir henry, Dude, Xeno, Stalker et al.

from what I'm told by people from there, you should be fine in Ireland especially if you're in Southern Ireland. There are parts of Northern Ireland that can be a bit of a flashpoint on certain "subjects" but the concensus of opinion seems to that as an american you should fine and dandy

Best of luck! It rains a lot in many parts there. The scenery will blow your mind and watch out for those snakes they have! I have family in the Fire Department that moved back to the island.
